🎬 Amazon Ads: Live Commerce Is Now Mainstream
Amazon Ads’ 2026 marketing trends report declares live commerce is officially mainstream, blending entertainment with instant purchasing. The creator economy is driving this shift projected to reach $43.9 billion in ad spend this year (up 18% YoY). Amazon’s own research shows 50% of consumers view entertainment as part of their path to purchase, and 72% have taken shopping actions while watching content.
🙋 Be a Brand Creators Want to Work With
Have you ever read a Nik Sharma Newsletter? I love it, weekly he writes insigthful and actionable content for DTC. This week he had a long essay on creator. My TL;DR: Most brands jump straight into influencer outreach, but skip the most important step: building a brand creators actually want to be associated with. The best creators are selective because their audience trusts them to be. If your brand has a clear identity and a product that truly delivers, creators will naturally want to feature it. Brands like Jolie, Cadence, Lalo, and Caraway succeeded because their products and storytelling made them magnetic. When the foundation is strong, every creator marketing tactic works exponentially better. ✨
Formula 1 🏎️
Sephora is expanding its investment in women’s sports by becoming the official beauty retail partner of the F1 Academy. The global racing series has a rapidly growing Gen Z audience, will feature Spanish driver Natalia Granada in a Sephora-branded car. The partnership will also bring Sephora-hosted beauty bars to every race. The move highlights Sephora’s push to connect beauty with sports culture and engage a fanbase that is already about 45% female. 🏁💄 By the way, there is an awesome podcast that just dropped from Acquired on the business and history of Formula 1. An amazing piece for anyone curious about the sport.
